Product Details
The NI PCI-6111 is a high-performance S-series simultaneous sampling multifunction DAQ card built for PCI bus test and measurement systems. It is equipped with 2 pseudodifferential analog input channels with dedicated ADC for each channel, supporting true simultaneous sampling at up to 5 MS/s per channel and 12-bit ADC resolution. It also integrates 2 analog output channels, 8 bidirectional TTL digital I/O lines and two independent 24-bit counter-timer channels. The analog input supports a high differential voltage range of ±42 V, which fits the requirement of 42V automotive electrical system testing. Its pseudodifferential input design delivers excellent noise suppression and stable signal integrity when capturing fast transient waveforms. Compared with PCI-6110, it adopts 2 analog input channels and is suitable for dual-channel synchronous measurement scenarios with strict phase consistency requirements. The onboard 8192-sample FIFO buffer helps stabilize continuous data streaming and reduces data loss risk during high-speed long-time acquisition.
This DAQ card is a full-length PCI board, which needs a compatible chassis slot for installation. It uses a SCSI signal connector for all I/O wiring and can cooperate with matched shielded cables and signal conditioning accessories for isolated and high-voltage signal measurement. It supports flexible digital triggering and clock configuration, and can synchronize with other NI DAQ and test instruments through the RTSI bus to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The dual 24-bit counter channels can complete pulse counting, frequency measurement, period capture and incremental encoder signal monitoring. The analog output channels can generate high-speed analog stimulus signals, working together with synchronous analog input channels to finish closed-loop stimulus-response testing. Digital I/O lines can read external status signals and drive low-power TTL circuits for interlock control and trigger routing. It supports DMA data transmission to reduce CPU occupancy during continuous high-speed streaming, and built-in self-calibration function compensates gain and offset drift to maintain stable measurement accuracy for dynamic tests.
This multifunction daq card is widely used in automotive 42V component verification, dual-channel radar and sonar signal acquisition, ultrasonic testing, transient waveform recording, aerospace dynamic signal testing, manufacturing test stations and OEM synchronous measurement equipment integration. It supports both NI-DAQmx and traditional NI-DAQ drivers, compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can quickly develop dual-channel synchronous acquisition and stimulus control programs. As a discontinued legacy S-series DAQ hardware, the PCI-6111 is mainly used for maintenance and spare replacement of existing dual-channel high-speed simultaneous sampling measurement platforms. It can maintain reliable synchronous sampling performance, retain mature test workflows and avoid the high cost of rebuilding the whole measurement system. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, supporting stable continuous operation in laboratory and light industrial environments.
