Product Details

The NI PCI-6024E is a classic E-series multifunction DAQ card built for PCI bus measurement and control systems, combining analog input, analog output, digital I/O and counter resources to support closed-loop stimulus and acquisition testing. It features 12-bit ADC resolution, configurable for 16 single-ended analog input channels or 8 differential analog input channels, with a maximum aggregate sampling rate of 200 kS/s. It is equipped with 2 analog output channels with 12-bit DAC resolution, 8 bidirectional TTL digital I/O lines and two independent 24-bit counter-timer channels. The analog input supports programmable gain and multiple voltage ranges from ±0.05 V to ±10 V. Differential input mode offers excellent common-mode rejection, which effectively suppresses ground loop noise and electromagnetic interference from long sensor cables in industrial environments.

This DAQ card adopts a 68-pin SCSI connector for all signal wiring, compatible with shielded cables, SCC and SCXI signal conditioning accessories to expand measurement capacity for high-voltage, isolated and remote sensor signals. It supports software trigger and external hardware trigger for analog scanning. The RTSI synchronization bus can share clock and trigger signals with other NI DAQ, digitizer and DSA boards to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The dual 24-bit counters can complete pulse counting, frequency measurement, period capture and incremental encoder signal monitoring. The analog output can generate stable DC voltage and slow changing analog signals, working with analog input channels to carry out sensor calibration and frequency response testing. Digital I/O lines can read external status signals and drive low-power TTL devices for interlock and indicator control. It uses bus-powered design without extra external power supply, and the standard PCI form factor fits most industrial PC chassis. DMA data transmission reduces CPU occupation during continuous logging, and built-in self-calibration compensates gain and offset drift to maintain stable measurement accuracy during long-time running.

This multifunction daq card is widely applied in laboratory automation, electronic product design verification, small batch manufacturing test, sensor calibration, environmental parameter logging, OEM measurement equipment integration and closed-loop stimulus-response test systems. It supports both traditional NI-DAQ and NI-DAQmx drivers, compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can quickly develop integrated acquisition and control programs. As a discontinued legacy E-series DAQ hardware, the PCI-6024E is mainly used for maintenance and spare replacement of existing measurement platforms. It can run stable synchronous analog input and output tasks, retain mature test workflows and avoid the high cost of rebuilding the whole measurement system. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, supporting reliable continuous operation in laboratory and light industrial environments.
