Product Details

The NI PCI-6014 is a 16-bit multifunction DAQ card for PCI bus computers, upgraded from PCI-6013 with integrated analog output channels for closed-loop stimulus and measurement testing. It supports 16 single-ended analog input channels or 8 differential analog input channels, with a maximum aggregate sampling rate of 200 kS/s. It adopts successive approximation ADC architecture, and four programmable bipolar input ranges are selectable from ±0.1 V to ±10 V to match different sensor output levels. Besides analog input, this card is equipped with 2 analog output channels with 16-bit DAC resolution and 10 kS/s maximum update rate, 8 bidirectional TTL/CMOS digital I/O lines, and two independent 24-bit counter/timer channels.

This DAQ card supports digital triggering for analog acquisition, and the RTSI bus enables clock and trigger synchronization with other NI measurement hardware to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The 24-bit counter modules can perform pulse counting, frequency measurement, period capture and simple encoder signal monitoring. The analog output channels can generate stable DC voltage and slow analog stimulus signals for sensor calibration and component frequency response testing. It uses a 68-pin SCSI connector for all signal wiring, compatible with a full set of shielded cables and terminal blocks for reliable field connection. The standard PCI form factor fits industrial PC chassis and uses bus-powered design without extra external power supply. It supports DMA data transmission to reduce CPU load during continuous data streaming, and built-in self-calibration function minimizes gain and offset drift for long-term measurement stability. Differential input mode provides excellent common-mode rejection and suppresses ground loop noise in industrial wiring environments.

This multifunction daq card is widely used in laboratory automation, electronic component verification, small batch manufacturing test, sensor calibration, environmental parameter logging, OEM measurement equipment integration and closed-loop stimulus-response test systems. It supports NI-DAQmx and traditional legacy NI-DAQ drivers, compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can develop integrated acquisition and control programs conveniently. As a discontinued legacy DAQ hardware, the PCI-6014 is mainly used for maintenance and spare replacement of existing measurement and control platforms. It can run stable synchronous analog input and output tasks, retain mature test sequences and avoid the high cost of rebuilding the whole measurement system. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, supporting reliable continuous operation in laboratory and light industrial environments.
