The NI PCI-6013 is a cost-effective multifunction DAQ card for PCI bus computers, designed for general analog voltage acquisition and basic digital control applications. It features 16-bit ADC resolution, supporting 16 single-ended analog input channels or 8 software-selectable differential analog input channels, with a maximum aggregate sampling rate of 200 kS/s. This model does not include analog output channels, focusing on reliable analog input measurement, 8 bidirectional TTL/CMOS digital I/O lines and two independent 24-bit counter/timer channels. The successive approximation ADC architecture delivers stable multiplexed scanning performance, and four programmable analog input voltage ranges are available from ±0.1 V to ±10 V to adapt to different low-level sensor signals. Differential input mode provides good common-mode noise suppression, which helps reduce interference in industrial wiring environments.

This DAQ card supports digital triggering for analog acquisition, and the RTSI bus interface enables clock and trigger synchronization with other NI DAQ and measurement hardware to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The two 24-bit counter modules can complete pulse counting, frequency measurement, period capture and simple encoder monitoring tasks. The digital I/O channels can read external status signals and drive low-power TTL devices for interlock and indicator control.
