The NI PCI-6011E, also known as PCI-MIO-16XE-50, is a classic E-series multifunction MIO DAQ card for PCI bus, designed for low-speed analog measurement and simple automation control. It provides 16 single-ended analog input channels or 8 differential analog input channels with 16-bit ADC resolution, and the maximum aggregate sampling rate is 20 kS/s. It is equipped with 2 analog output channels at 12-bit resolution, 8 TTL digital I/O lines, and two independent 24-bit counter-timer channels, integrating analog acquisition, analog output, digital logic and pulse measurement in one board. The programmable analog input ranges cover ±0.1 V to ±10 V, suitable for low-frequency sensor signals such as thermocouples, pressure sensors and resistance transducers.

This DAQ card adopts a 68-pin SCSI style connector for all signal wiring, matching NI standard cables and terminal blocks for field wiring. Differential input mode suppresses common-mode noise, which improves stability in industrial test environments. It supports software trigger and hardware digital trigger for analog scanning. The RTSI bus can share clock and trigger signals with other NI DAQ and measurement hardware to build synchronized multi-board test systems. The 24-bit counter channels support frequency measurement, period capture, pulse width detection and simple encoder monitoring. It supports DMA data transmission for stable buffered acquisition. The standard PCI form factor fits industrial PC chassis and can be used for spare replacement of legacy test stations. It works with bus power supply without extra external power adapter.

This multifunction daq card is widely used in temperature and pressure monitoring, laboratory sensor calibration, small batch product testing, educational measurement experiments, OEM data logging equipment and low-speed closed-loop control systems.
