Product Details
The NI PCI-6010E is a classic E-series multifunction DAQ card for PCI bus computers, integrating analog input, analog output, digital I/O and counter-timer modules for general-purpose measurement and control automation. It is equipped with 16-bit ADC resolution, supporting 16 single-ended analog input channels or 8 differential analog input channels, with a maximum aggregate sampling rate of 200 kS/s for multiplexed scanning. It contains 2 analog output channels, 8 TTL digital I/O lines and 2 independent counter/timer channels, which can handle voltage sampling, analog stimulus output, digital signal reading and driving, pulse counting, frequency measurement and encoder signal capture within one board. As an E-series generation device, it features improved timing performance and stable trigger routing compared with older B-series DAQ hardware.
The analog input supports multiple programmable voltage ranges for different sensor outputs, and differential input mode effectively suppresses common-mode noise in industrial wiring environments. The board uses a 37-pin D-SUB connector for all signal access, compatible with a wide range of matching cables and terminal blocks for convenient field wiring. It supports both software trigger and external hardware trigger for analog acquisition, and the RTSI synchronization bus enables clock and trigger sharing with other NI DAQ, digitizer and DSA cards to build multi-board synchronized test systems. The counter/timer channels support period measurement, pulse width capture and buffered pulse generation, which can be used for simple motion monitoring and pulse sequence control. The standard PCI form factor fits industrial PC chassis and is easy to replace in existing legacy test stations. It adopts bus-powered design, so no extra external power supply is required for normal operation.
This multifunction daq card is widely deployed in laboratory automation, electronic product design verification, small batch manufacturing testing, environmental parameter logging, OEM measurement equipment integration and sensor calibration systems. It supports traditional NI-DAQ and NI-DAQmx drivers, compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can quickly develop customized data acquisition and control test programs. As a discontinued legacy E-series DAQ hardware, the PCI-6010E is mainly used for maintenance and spare replacement of old automated measurement platforms. It can maintain stable long-term sampling and control performance, retain mature test sequences and avoid the high cost of redesigning the whole test framework. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, supporting reliable continuous operation in laboratory and light industrial environments.
