Product Details
The NI PCI-4472 is a high-density 24-bit DSA dynamic signal acquisition card designed for PCI bus computers, built for multi-channel sound and vibration measurement. It provides 8 differential analog input channels, all of which run simultaneous sampling at up to 102.4 kS/s, with a dynamic range of 110 dB to capture subtle vibration and acoustic signals. Each channel integrates IEPE constant current excitation, which can power IEPE accelerometers and measurement microphones directly without extra signal conditioning modules. The card adopts delta-sigma ADC architecture with automatic brick-wall anti-aliasing filters, the filter parameters adjust automatically according to the set sampling rate to block aliasing interference and guarantee clean signal data for frequency analysis.
It supports AC and DC coupling modes, with the low-frequency cutoff at 3.4 Hz, which fits low-frequency vibration and noise monitoring scenarios. The board uses SMB connectors for signal wiring, offering compact and reliable connection for transducers. It supports analog trigger, external digital trigger and pre-trigger functions. The RTSI bus enables multi-card synchronization, users can cascade several PCI-4472 units to expand channel quantity for large-scale sensor array testing. Differential input design effectively suppresses ground loop noise and electromagnetic interference, which improves measurement stability in factory workshops and test laboratories. The standard PCI form factor can be installed into ordinary industrial PC chassis conveniently, and it supports continuous waveform streaming, FFT spectrum analysis, order tracking and multi-point synchronous data logging.
This vibration DSA card is widely applied in large structural modal testing, automobile NVH multi-point testing, wind tunnel acoustic measurement, building vibration monitoring, rotating machinery online condition monitoring and aerospace multi-sensor vibration screening. It is compatible with NI-DAQmx driver, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ development environments, and matches the NI Sound and Vibration Toolkit to develop automated test sequences. As a legacy DSA measurement hardware, the PCI-4472 is mostly used for maintenance and upgrade of existing high-channel vibration and acoustic test benches. It can keep stable synchronous sampling accuracy during long-time unattended recording, retain mature test workflows and avoid expensive reconstruction of the whole measurement system. Its operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 50°C, supporting continuous stable operation for batch quality inspection and comparative data analysis.
