Product Details
The NI PCI-4462 is a high-precision 24-bit DSA dynamic signal acquisition card for PCI bus computers, dedicated to sound and vibration measurement applications. It is equipped with 4 analog input channels, all channels support simultaneous sampling at a maximum rate of 204.8 kS/s, and the alias-free bandwidth reaches 92 kHz. This card offers 118 dB dynamic range, which can capture weak vibration and acoustic signals accurately even under noisy test conditions. It integrates built-in IEPE constant current excitation and TEDS sensor identification function, which can automatically identify transducers and read calibration parameters, greatly simplifying test setup and reducing manual configuration mistakes.
Each analog input channel supports independent gain adjustment with six gain options, and the input voltage range covers ±316 mV to ±42.4 V. Users can set AC or DC coupling separately for each channel according to different test objects. It supports differential and pseudodifferential wiring modes to suppress ground loop interference caused by long sensor cables. Built-in digital anti-aliasing filters effectively filter out out-of-band aliasing noise and ensure high-quality raw signals for FFT spectrum analysis, order tracking and frequency domain measurement. Multiple trigger modes are available, including analog trigger, digital trigger and pre-trigger. The RTSI bus interface allows synchronization between multiple cards to expand measurement channels for large modal test systems. The standard PCI form factor and shielded connector enhance anti-interference ability in laboratory and factory test environments.
This dynamic signal acquisition card is widely used in automotive NVH testing, structural modal analysis, rotating machinery condition monitoring, aerospace component vibration screening, noise source localization and acoustic performance testing. It is fully compatible with NI-DAQmx driver, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and C/C++ programming environments, and works well with NI Sound and Vibration Toolkit to develop automated test programs. As a legacy DSA measurement hardware, the PCI-4462 is mainly used for maintenance and upgrade of existing multi-channel vibration and acoustic test benches. It can maintain stable measurement accuracy during long-time continuous unattended testing, preserve mature test workflows and avoid the high cost of reconstructing the whole measurement system. It supports repeated batch testing and provides stable and comparable data for product quality inspection.
