Product Details
The NI PCI-4452 is a high-performance DSA dynamic signal acquisition card for PCI bus computers, belonging to the NI 445X series dedicated to sound and vibration measurement. It is equipped with 4 true differential analog input channels with 16-bit resolution, all channels support simultaneous sampling to guarantee precise phase matching for multi-channel dynamic testing. It adopts delta-sigma ADC technology with 128x oversampling and built-in digital anti-aliasing filters, which effectively suppress out-of-band noise and maintain high signal fidelity. The sampling rate can be adjusted from 5 kS/s to 204.8 kS/s through software, adapting to different bandwidth requirements for vibration and acoustic testing. This dynamic signal acquisition card provides stable amplitude flatness of ±0.1 dB within the specified frequency range, which is critical for spectrum analysis and frequency response testing.
It supports software-selectable AC and DC coupling for each channel, multiple trigger modes including pre-trigger, post-trigger and external digital trigger, along with 8 TTL-compatible digital I/O lines for synchronous interlock with external test equipment. The input impedance is 1 MΩ parallel with 50 pF, and the card uses a 68-pin VHDCI connector for signal wiring. It can directly connect with accelerometers, microphones and other vibration and acoustic transducers, and supports time-domain waveform recording, FFT spectrum analysis, transfer function calculation and noise testing. The standard PCI form factor is easy to install into industrial PC chassis, and the shielded interface design helps reduce electromagnetic interference in factory and laboratory environments.
This daq card is widely used in automotive NVH testing, structural modal analysis, rotating machinery fault diagnosis, audio component performance testing, aerospace component vibration screening and product noise inspection. It is compatible with NI-DAQmx driver, LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI and mainstream C/C++ programming environments, and can work with NI sound and vibration toolkits to build automated test systems. As an obsolete legacy DSA hardware, the PCI-4452 is mainly used for maintenance and reconstruction of existing vibration and acoustic test stations. It can run long-term continuous data acquisition stably, retain mature test procedures and avoid high cost of replacing the whole measurement system. It supports reliable continuous operation under normal laboratory and industrial test ambient temperature, and meets the demand of batch repeated testing and data comparison for quality control.
