Product Details
The NI PCI-4351 is a high-precision temperature data acquisition card built for PCI bus industrial computers, designed for multi-channel temperature and low-level voltage measurement. It supports RTD, thermocouple and thermistor sensors, and delivers stable and accurate readings for temperature monitoring and data logging tasks. This daq card adopts 24-bit ADC, providing up to 16 differential analog input channels or 14 thermocouple channels, and it carries 8 TTL-compatible digital I/O lines for simple trigger and switch control.
The card supports voltage input range up to ±15 V and comes with built-in open thermocouple detection on each channel, which can quickly identify broken sensor wiring and avoid invalid measurement data. It has excellent measurement accuracy: ±0.42°C for J-type thermocouple, ±0.12°C for RTD, and ±0.03°C for thermistor. The on-board precision current source is used for RTD and thermistor excitation, and software-selectable ground mode supports both floating signals and ground-referenced signals, which greatly improves the flexibility of sensor wiring. It also features strong noise rejection, suitable for factory environments with electrical interference.
It is widely used in environmental chamber testing, thermal cycling test stations, product thermal performance verification, laboratory temperature calibration, and industrial process temperature recording. The standard PCI form factor can be directly installed into the industrial PC chassis, with a 68-pin I/O connector for reliable signal connection. It is compatible with LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, Visual Basic and C/C++ programming environments, so engineers can develop customized test programs easily. As a legacy high-precision daq device, it is commonly used to maintain existing thermal test systems, helping users continue stable temperature collection without reconstructing the whole test framework. Its operating temperature ranges from 0°C to 55°C, and it can work continuously for long-term unattended temperature data acquisition.
