Product Details:
NI PCI-1422 is a PCI-bus IMAQ parallel digital frame grabber designed for LVDS and RS-422/RS-644 digital cameras, and this digital parallel frame grabber supports monochrome and color area scan and line scan digital cameras for high-precision machine vision and scientific measurement. It accepts differential digital video data, supports single 16-bit tap or dual 8-bit tap camera configuration, and delivers stable high-speed pixel transmission with strong anti-interference performance compared to analog grabbers. It is widely used for semiconductor wafer inspection, PCB trace defect detection, flat panel inspection, high-resolution dimensional measurement, web scanning inspection and legacy digital vision system renovation. Engineers can develop vision programs with LabVIEW, NI Vision Development Module and NI-IMAQ driver, the built-in ROI function reduces data bandwidth, and RTSI bus realizes trigger and timing synchronization with other DAQ and vision boards to complete reliable rtsi vision timing sync tasks.
Key specifications and parameters: Pixel clock up to 40 MHz, maximum data throughput reaches 80 MB/s. It has 16 digital data lines, supporting 1 tap 16-bit or 2 tap 8-bit camera modes. It integrates 16 MB onboard SDRAM buffer for large image caching. It supports programmable ROI, pixel scaling and lookup table for image correction. Four external TTL trigger lines and camera control signals are available for sensor trigger and light source synchronization. It supports LVDS and RS-422 electrical standards, two hardware variants for different camera interfaces. It adopts standard PCI 2.2 bus interface, powered by PCI slot +5V and +12V. The operating temperature range is 0 ℃ to 50 ℃, storage temperature -25 ℃ to 70 ℃, 10%–40% non-condensing humidity. Status LEDs indicate pixel lock, trigger and bus activity for quick fault diagnosis during commissioning. It requires NI-IMAQ 18.5 or older driver version for normal operation.
This lvds rs422 digital imaging board is an end-of-life legacy NI hardware. We supply fully inspected and tested refurbished units for replacement and maintenance of old digital parallel vision systems. It can cooperate with LVDS area scan cameras, line scan cameras and lighting controllers to build high-precision inspection platforms. It is widely adopted in semiconductor factories, optical measurement labs, printing inspection lines and university image research platforms. As a flexible multi-tap digital acquisition card, it provides stable high-resolution digital image capture for long-running precision vision projects.
