Product Details:
NI PCI-1411 is a single-channel PCI IMAQ frame grabber for color and monochrome analog camera acquisition, and this color analog frame grabber supports both composite BNC and S-Video input for standard analog video signals. It integrates onboard real-time HSL color conversion, which accelerates color matching and color sorting tasks without heavy host-side calculation. It supports NTSC, PAL, RS-170 and CCIR video standards, and is suitable for stable image sampling in cost-sensitive vision stations. It is widely used for product color sorting, label printing verification, part presence detection, packaging appearance inspection, laboratory color imaging and legacy analog vision system upgrade. Engineers can build vision applications with LabVIEW, NI Vision Development Module and NI-IMAQ driver, configure ROI, pixel decimation, gain and offset, and use the external trigger line to sync capture with photoelectric sensors for programmable roi image sampling.
Key specifications and parameters: 8-bit pixel depth, 16 MB onboard SDRAM image buffer for frame caching. It carries one external trigger / digital I/O line, which can work as trigger input or strobe output to control light sources. It is equipped with 3×8-bit RGB lookup tables, programmable gain and offset to adjust image brightness and contrast. The input impedance is 75 Ohm for composite video. It follows PCI 2.1 bus specification, maximum burst transfer rate up to 132 MB/s. The front panel has BNC connector for composite video and separate interface for S-Video. The operating temperature range is 0 ℃ to 55 ℃, storage temperature -20 ℃ to 70 ℃, 10%–90% non-condensing humidity. Status indicators help technicians check video lock and trigger status during commissioning and troubleshooting. It does not support asynchronous reset trigger, so capture will wait for the next valid frame boundary after trigger arrives.
This s-video composite capture board is an end-of-life legacy NI hardware. We supply fully inspected and tested refurbished units for replacement and maintenance of old color vision inspection systems. It can be matched with analog color cameras, light controllers and terminal accessories to build low-cost visual inspection benches. It is widely adopted in food packaging lines, cosmetic color inspection, electronic assembly verification, university image processing labs and small-batch quality control platforms. As a budget-friendly color frame grabber, it provides reliable real-time color conversion and image acquisition for long-running analog vision projects.
