Product Details:
NI cFP-TC-125 is an 8-channel thermocouple temperature input module built for the Compact FieldPoint distributed I/O platform, and this thermocouple module delivers reliable temperature sensing for industrial process and test environments. It supports eight common thermocouple types including J, K, R, S, T, N, E and B, and also accepts millivolt signals from -20 mV to 80 mV for other low-level sensor measurements. Built-in cold junction compensation and linearization functions eliminate extra signal conditioning work, ensuring accurate temperature readings directly from thermocouple probes. It is widely used for furnace temperature monitoring, heat treatment process tracking, reactor thermal control, oven testing, exhaust temperature inspection and environmental thermal mapping. Users can complete channel configuration, real-time data reading and online fault diagnosis through NI LabVIEW, official FieldPoint drivers and NI MAX software, which greatly simplifies field commissioning and routine maintenance work.
Key specifications and parameters: 16-bit delta-sigma ADC resolution, 8 differential input channels. The full channel update time is 0.22 seconds with filter disabled and 0.99 seconds with 50/60 Hz filter enabled. The built-in digital filter provides strong power-frequency noise rejection, ideal for factory sites with heavy electrical interference. It adopts bank isolation design with 250 Vrms continuous channel-to-ground isolation and 2300 Vrms dielectric withstand test rating, which suppresses ground loop noise and protects the backplane and controller from transient voltage surges. The module has dedicated open thermocouple detection and channel status LED indicators to quickly identify broken sensor wiring. The operating temperature range is -40 ℃ to 70 ℃, adapting to harsh workshops, outdoor skids and thermal test chambers. It supports hot swap on the Compact FieldPoint backplane, and replacing this module will not interrupt the operation of other modules on the same bank.
This temperature sensing module is an end-of-life legacy NI component. We supply fully inspected and tested refurbished units for replacement and maintenance of old automation and thermal measurement systems. It works well with cFP-CB-3 isothermal terminal base to optimize cold junction compensation stability, and it can also use cFP-CB-1 general terminal base for conventional wiring. It is widely deployed in chemical processing, metal heat treatment, pharmaceutical drying, energy equipment monitoring and material thermal testing industries.
