Product Details:
NI 9237 is a 4-channel C Series strain and bridge input module designed for CompactDAQ and CompactRIO platforms, and this strain bridge module delivers zero-phase-delay simultaneous bridge sampling for bridge-type transducers in mechanical test and structural validation projects. It integrates built-in programmable excitation and signal conditioning circuits to power and measure Wheatstone bridge sensors, supporting quarter-bridge, half-bridge and full-bridge configurations for strain gauges, load cells, torque sensors and pressure transducers. It is widely used for material tensile testing, structural stress analysis, vehicle durability test, silo weighing calibration, aerospace component load verification, fatigue test monitoring and industrial force measurement. Engineers can configure bridge parameters, read synchronized strain data and complete post-processing analysis via LabVIEW, NI-DAQmx and NI SignalExpress, and the TEDS function automatically identifies smart bridge sensors to simplify setup for high precision force measurement.
Key specifications and parameters: 24-bit delta-sigma ADC, 4 fully simultaneous analog input channels with maximum sampling rate of 50 kS/s per channel, input range ±25 mV/V. It provides 10 V internal excitation output, and supports remote sense wiring to eliminate voltage drop errors on long sensor cables. It carries 60 VDC continuous isolation and 1000 Vrms transient isolation, which suppresses ground loop interference and protects the measurement system from transient surges. The module supports IEEE 1451.4 TEDS Class II sensors for automatic sensor recognition and parameter loading. Two connector versions are available, RJ50 jack type and D-SUB type, RJ50 ports can directly connect to most load cells and torque sensors for convenient wiring. The operating temperature range is -40 ℃ to 70 ℃, storage temperature -40 ℃ to 85 ℃, 10%–90% non-condensing humidity. Hardware trigger and external timebase synchronization are supported to align sampling with other vibration, analog input and counter modules. Status LED indicators help technicians check power and communication status during commissioning and troubleshooting.
This teds strain sensor acquisition module is a classic NI C Series hardware. We supply fully inspected and calibrated refurbished units for replacement and upgrade of existing mechanical test and weighing systems. It can be matched with other C Series modules to build multi-physics test systems that collect strain, vibration, temperature and voltage signals at the same time. It is widely adopted in automotive test labs, wind turbine structure inspection, civil engineering modal testing, university mechanical research laboratories and manufacturing process quality verification. As a reliable simultaneous bridge sampling unit, it provides stable synchronized strain and force data for long-duration durability and characterization tests.
