Details

Product Details:

NI 9205 is a high-density C Series analog input module designed for CompactDAQ and CompactRIO platforms, and this analog input module delivers reliable voltage measurement and multi-channel sensor sampling for industrial test and monitoring systems. It supports flexible channel configuration, users can set up 32 single-ended channels or 16 differential channels according to wiring requirements, which makes it suitable for collecting analog signals from various voltage-type sensors. It is widely used for pressure transducer reading, strain signal acquisition, temperature transmitter measurement, vibration monitoring, production line signal logging, automotive component testing and distributed process monitoring. Engineers can configure channel ranges, sampling timing and trigger settings via LabVIEW and NI-DAQmx driver, and the module works seamlessly with scan interface mode and FPGA direct mode to meet different speed and synchronization demands for compactdaq analog capture tasks.

Key specifications and parameters: 16-bit multiplexed ADC, maximum sampling rate reaches 250 kS/s. Four programmable voltage ranges per channel: ±0.2 V, ±1 V, ±5 V, ±10 V, supporting low-level and standard industrial voltage signals. Input impedance is 10 GΩ parallel with 100 pF under powered state, which reduces signal loading effect on high-impedance sensors. It is equipped with ±30 V overvoltage protection on each analog input channel, and isolation design blocks ground loop interference and protects the chassis and controller from transient voltage spikes. Two connector versions are available, spring terminal type and 37-pin D-SUB type, for different wiring preferences. The operating temperature range is -40 ℃ to 70 ℃, storage temperature from -40 ℃ to 85 ℃, humidity 10%–90% non-condensing. It supports hardware triggering and external clock synchronization to align sampling with other DAQ modules, switches and test instruments. Status indicators help technicians quickly check power supply and communication status during on-site commissioning and fault troubleshooting.

This voltage acquisition module is a classic NI C Series hardware. We supply fully inspected and tested refurbished units for replacement and upgrade of existing measurement and control systems. It can be combined with other C Series output modules, digital I/O modules and counter modules to build complete stimulus-response test systems. It is widely adopted in energy equipment monitoring, chemical process testing, aerospace ground validation, university measurement labs and machinery condition inspection. As a flexible c series voltage acquisition unit, it provides stable multi-channel analog sampling for long-term industrial and laboratory measurement projects.
