NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cFP-DO-400 is an 8-channel sourcing digital output module for Compact FieldPoint backplane, supporting 5–30 VDC load drive. Each channel can output up to 1.5 A at 10–30 VDC, total aggregate current limit is 8 A. It adopts bank isolation design, 2300 Vrms transient dielectric withstand rating, no channel-to-channel isolation. Built-in flyback diodes for inductive load protection, overcurrent protection and independent channel status LED indicators. The power-on default state is off, output turn-on delay 50 µs and turn-off delay 20 µs. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 70℃, it supports hot swap on powered Compact FieldPoint backplane without disturbing other modules on the same bank. This legacy I/O module is end-of-life, available stock are refurbished replacement spares for vintage industrial automation systems.

This sourcing digital output module is used to drive solenoid valves, contactor coils, indicator lights and other 24VDC field actuators. It can work with all cFP series real-time controllers and cFP-1804/cFP-1808 network interface modules, compatible with LabVIEW, FieldPoint driver and NI MAX configuration software. The bank isolation can suppress ground loop noise and protect the backplane and controller from surge damage. It is widely used for distributed field switch control in factory automation.

It adopts compact modular structure, powered by Compact FieldPoint backplane. It matches cFP-CB-1 or cFP-CB-3 terminal base for field wiring. Hot swap is supported on powered backplane. The structure meets industrial shock, vibration and EMC requirements for cabinet and panel installation.
