NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cFP-DI-304 is a high-density 32-channel sinking digital input module designed for Compact FieldPoint backplane. It accepts 10–30 VDC sourcing type sensor signals, compatible with standard 24VDC industrial switching devices. It features 250 Vrms CAT II continuous channel-to-ground isolation, and passes 2300 Vrms short-time dielectric withstand test. It has built-in overvoltage protection, each channel is equipped with independent on/off status LED indicator and onboard diagnostic function for fault checking. The input hysteresis is 1kHz, the operating temperature range is -40℃ to 70℃, it supports hot swap on powered Compact FieldPoint backplane and will not affect the operation of other modules on the same bank. This legacy I/O module is end-of-life, available stock are refurbished replacement spares for vintage industrial automation systems.

This digital input module is used to collect the status of limit switches, proximity sensors, push buttons, relay contacts and other switching signals. It can work with all cFP series real-time controllers and cFP-1804/cFP-1808 network interface modules, compatible with LabVIEW, FieldPoint driver and NI MAX configuration software. The bank isolation design effectively suppresses ground loop interference and protects the backplane and controller from transient voltage surge damage. It is suitable for distributed high-density switch signal monitoring in factory automation sites.

It adopts compact modular structure, powered by Compact FieldPoint backplane. It matches cFP-CB-1 or cFP-CB-3 terminal base for field wiring. Hot swap is supported on powered backplane. The structure meets industrial shock, vibration and EMC requirements for cabinet and panel installation.
