NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cFP-AO-210 is an 8-channel analog voltage output module for Compact FieldPoint backplane. It adopts 12-bit resolution, fixed output range 0–10V, supports overrange up to 10.2V. The maximum aggregate update rate is 200 updates per second. Under normal condition, each channel can source or sink 1mA, and it can reach 10mA sourcing current with optional 15–30VDC external power supply. It has 2300Vrms transient bank isolation between backplane and output circuits, no channel-to-channel isolation. It integrates independent current limiting and short-circuit protection for each channel, with dedicated status LED indicators for power, ready and channel current limit alarm. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 70℃, it supports hot swap on powered Compact FieldPoint backplane without interfering other modules on the bank. This legacy I/O module is end-of-life, available stock are refurbished replacement spares for vintage industrial process control systems.

This voltage output module is used to drive 0-10V type proportional valves, positioners, variable speed controllers and analog indicators. It can match all cFP series real-time controllers and cFP-1804/cFP-1808 network interface modules, compatible with LabVIEW, FieldPoint driver and NI MAX configuration software. The bank isolation design suppresses ground loop noise and protects the control backplane from transient surge damage. It is widely used for distributed closed-loop voltage regulation in industrial sites.

It adopts compact modular structure, basic working power is supplied by Compact FieldPoint backplane. The terminal base integrates signal wiring terminals and external power interface. Hot swap is supported on powered backplane. The structure meets industrial shock, vibration and EMC requirements for cabinet and panel installation.
