NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cFP-AO-200 is an 8-channel single-ended analog current output module for Compact FieldPoint backplane. It adopts 12-bit resolution, programmable output range 0–20mA or 4–20mA, supports overrange to 20.5mA. The maximum aggregate update rate is 200 updates per second. It has 3000Vrms input-to-output isolation, 250Vrms continuous working voltage to ground, with short-circuit and open-circuit detection protection, and independent open-loop indicator for each channel. It requires external loop power supply of 5–24VDC, maximum load resistance up to 1kΩ under 24V loop supply. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 70℃, it supports hot swap on powered Compact FieldPoint backplane without disturbing other modules. This legacy I/O module is end-of-life, available stock are refurbished replacement spares for vintage industrial process control systems.

This analog output module is used to drive industrial regulating valves, positioners and other 4-20mA actuators. It can match all cFP series real-time controllers and cFP-1804/cFP-1808 network interface modules, compatible with LabVIEW, FieldPoint driver and NI MAX configuration software. The reinforced isolation design blocks ground loop interference and protects the control backplane from surge damage. It is widely applied in distributed closed-loop regulation on industrial sites.

It adopts compact modular structure, working power is supplied by Compact FieldPoint backplane. The terminal base integrates signal wiring terminals and loop power interface. Hot swap is supported on powered backplane. The structure meets industrial shock, vibration and EMC requirements for cabinet and panel installation.
