NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS cFP-AI-100 is an 8-channel 12-bit analog input module for Compact FieldPoint backplane, supporting both voltage and current signal measurement. It provides multiple software-selectable input ranges, including voltage ranges of ±1 V, ±5 V, ±15 V, ±30 V, 0–1 V, 0–5 V, 0–15 V, 0–30 V, and current ranges of 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, ±20 mA. The total aggregate sampling rate is 360 Hz. It features 250 Vrms CAT II continuous channel-to-ground isolation, with 2300 Vrms one-minute dielectric withstand test for isolation verification. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to 70℃, suitable for harsh industrial sites. It supports hot swap on the Compact FieldPoint backplane without interrupting other modules in the bank. Each channel is equipped with built-in loop power supply terminals for two-wire transmitters. This legacy I/O module is end-of-life, available stock are refurbished replacement spares for vintage industrial measurement systems.

This analog input module can collect standard industrial 4-20mA transmitters and voltage sensor signals, such as pressure, flow, liquid level and temperature transmitters. It works with all cFP series controllers and cFP-1804/cFP-1808 network interface modules, compatible with LabVIEW, FieldPoint driver and NI MAX configuration software. The isolation design effectively suppresses ground loop interference and protects the backplane and controller from transient overvoltage. It is widely used for distributed field signal acquisition and process monitoring.

It adopts compact modular structure, powered by Compact FieldPoint backplane. Terminal base integrates signal terminals and loop power output. Hot swap is supported on powered backplane. The structure meets industrial shock, vibration and EMC requirements for cabinet and panel installation.
