MOTOROLA MVME374-1 belongs to classic MVME68k series 6U VMEbus single board computer, designed as the core embedded controller for legacy industrial VME chassis. It adopts MC68000 family processor with floating-point coprocessor option, integrated on-board memory, SCSI controller, serial communication ports and Ethernet interface. This legacy CPU board is discontinued, available stock are refurbished spare units for CNC machine tools, industrial test benches and old DCS control systems.

This SBC works as the main computing master inside VME rack, responsible for running real-time control programs, collecting data from VME I/O modules and communicating with upper host system. It supports VMEbus A24/D16 bus protocol, can operate as VME master or slave, and handles multi-level bus interrupts. Shielded backplane wiring reduces electromagnetic interference generated by servo drives and harsh workshop environment. It supports VxWorks and other early real-time operating systems.

The board is standard 6U double eurocard size, powered by +5V DC from VME backplane. Front panel equipped with status LED indicators, serial port and network interface. The P2 VME rear connector expands SCSI and extra I/O signals. On-board ASIC chipset manages bus arbitration and timing control. Industrial PCB and anti-vibration soldering process adapt to continuous factory operation. Hot swap is not supported, power must be cut off before removal.
