MOTOROLA MVME162-213 is part of MVME162LX 6U VMEbus single board computer family, built with MC68LC040 25MHz 32-bit processor, 8KB cache and MMU, without hardware FPU. This configuration comes with 4MB parity DRAM, 128KB battery-backed SRAM, four EIA-232-D serial ports, onboard narrow SCSI controller and 10Mbps Ethernet transceiver, plus two IndustryPack expansion slots. It integrates 1MB flash memory for firmware, battery-backed real-time clock, programmable timers and hardware watchdog. The built-in MVME162Bug monitor supports serial console debug, memory verification and boot parameter setup. This legacy board is end-of-life, available units are refurbished replacement spares for vintage VME automation racks.

This SBC can act as VMEbus master or slave and supports A16/A24/A32 addressing and D8/D16/D32 data transfer with interrupt handling. It combines SCSI local storage and Ethernet networking, which can log process data locally and transmit information to upper host at the same time.
