MOTOROLA MVME162-202 is a member of the MVME162LX 6U VMEbus single board computer family, powered by MC68040 25MHz 32-bit processor with integrated FPU and 8KB on-chip cache. This version carries 4MB parity DRAM, 512KB battery-backed SRAM, four EIA-232-D serial channels, onboard 10Mbps Ethernet transceiver and dual IndustryPack expansion slots, without SCSI controller. It integrates 1MB flash memory for firmware storage, non-volatile real-time clock and hardware watchdog. The onboard monitor firmware supports serial console debugging, memory verification and boot parameter setup. This legacy embedded board is end-of-life, and available units are refurbished spares for vintage industrial VME systems.
