Product Details:
MOTOROLA MVME110-1 belongs to the early MVME68k series VMEbus single board computer, built with MC68000 8MHz 16-bit processor, it can be configured as VME system controller or slave CPU for legacy VME chassis. It supports memory expansion through onboard sockets, equipped with RS232C serial debug port, programmable timer counter and VME bus arbitration circuit. This vintage SBC is discontinued, available stock are refurbished spare units for old industrial test platforms, early CNC control systems and laboratory automation equipment.
This CPU board acts as the main control core inside VME rack. It executes real-time control logic, exchanges data with VME I/O modules and responds to host commands. It supports A16/A24 VME addressing mode, handles bus interrupt and timeout monitoring. The onboard VMEbug firmware supports boot, debug and parameter configuration via serial terminal. Shielded backplane connection reduces electromagnetic interference generated by servo power units and harsh workshop environment.
It follows standard 6U VME eurocard form factor, powered by +5V, ±12V from VME backplane. Front panel carries RUN, HALT, FAIL status LEDs, RESET and ABORT push buttons for convenient on-site debugging. It does not support hot swap, power must be cut off before removal and replacement. Industrial PCB and vibration-resistant soldering process adapt to continuous factory operation environment.
All units pass power-on self-test, memory check, VME bus handshake test and long-time aging test before shipment to guarantee stable real-time operation under multi-shift industrial production.
It is widely used on legacy semiconductor processing equipment, industrial data acquisition systems, metallurgy control cabinets and vintage CNC platforms. Typical application scenarios include VME rack main CPU replacement, old automation system maintenance and equipment retrofit. Automation integrators select this Motorola MVME110-1 for its classic MC68000 architecture and good compatibility with early VME peripheral modules.
