MODICON DR-1060-305 is a rack controller and bus interface module from legacy AEG Modicon automation family. It serves as the core communication bridge inside the control rack, responsible for managing the backplane bus, exchanging data between the main processor and all plug-in I/O, analog and communication modules installed on the same rack. This module realizes high-speed parallel backplane data transmission, distributing control commands from CPU to each local I/O card and uploading field signal feedback and channel diagnostic information back to the host controller. It supports stable cyclic data refresh for discrete inputs, relay outputs, analog acquisition and analog output channels, ensuring synchronous operation of the whole rack control system.
