MODICON AS-P810-000, also known as P810, is an AC input rack power supply module designed for the classic Gould AEG Modicon 984 series PLC rack system. It accepts universal 115/230 VAC selectable input at 50/60 Hz and provides stable DC power output up to 2 Amp to feed the backplane bus for the CPU, communication cards and various I/O modules inside the automation rack. This unit features built-in overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit protection to safeguard the whole rack against electrical damage caused by load faults or transient surges. It adopts standard rack slot mounting and plugs directly into the dedicated Modicon backplane without extra modification. The front panel carries LED indicators for power good status and fault alarm, allowing technicians to quickly judge working state and carry out on-site troubleshooting. Integrated EMC filtering circuits suppress mains-borne noise and voltage spikes, delivering clean power for reliable operation in heavy industrial environments with inverters, contactors and other interference sources.
