Details

Product Details:

MODICON AS-J540-100 is an I/O adapter assembly belonging to the Modicon 500 series control platform, equipped with a dedicated bus error reset button for local fault clearing. It serves as the bridge between the host processor and distributed 500 series remote I/O racks, responsible for bus signal conversion, frame forwarding and communication state management. This adapter continuously polls remote I/O nodes, transmits field input data back to the main CPU and distributes output commands to corresponding field modules. The onboard reset button allows technicians to manually clear bus communication faults without powering down the whole rack, greatly simplifying on-site troubleshooting. It adopts standard rack mounting and fits directly into the Modicon 500 backplane, with built-in surge suppression and noise filtering circuits to stabilize bus transmission in heavy interference industrial environments. As an obsolete original spare part, it is used for maintenance and retrofitting of legacy Modicon distributed automation systems. Direct replacement keeps the existing bus cabling, node layout and rack configuration unchanged, reduces wiring modification and cuts production downtime.
