MODICON 91-00911-05, also known as VIC10400, is a compact 1U rack numeric display I/O module built for the Modicon 557VIC and FactoryMate Plus legacy PLC platform. It receives digital value commands transmitted over the dedicated backplane bus and presents process readings via a four-digit red numeric LED display, offering local visual indication for setpoints, counter values, production counts and analog scaled readings on control racks. This module draws its operating power directly from the 5 Vdc backplane and plugs straight into the matched 557VIC backplane slot without extra external power wiring. Front panel status LEDs indicate module power, bus communication activity and fault alarm for quick on-site inspection and troubleshooting. Integrated EMC filtering and transient suppression circuits protect the internal display logic against electrical noise and voltage spikes generated by surrounding production equipment. As an obsolete original spare part, it is reserved for maintenance and retrofit of aging Modicon 557 series automation racks. Direct drop-in replacement keeps the existing backplane wiring, data mapping and cabinet layout unchanged, removing the need to modify PLC logic and cutting production downtime.
