AEG MODICON 120-166-006 is a brushless servo motor designed for legacy Modicon motion control systems. It delivers precise constant torque and high dynamic response for positioning, indexing and synchronized motion tasks on automated machinery. This servo motor integrates built-in position feedback encoder to provide real-time shaft angle and speed signals to the matched servo drive, forming a closed-loop motion control system for accurate speed and position regulation. It adopts industrial mechanical structure with sealed bearing assembly and reinforced flange, suitable for continuous cyclic operation under heavy-duty workshop conditions. The winding carries thermal protection to prevent burnout during overload or stall events. As an obsolete original electromechanical spare part, it is mainly used for maintenance and retrofit of old Modicon motion platforms. Direct replacement retains the existing drive, feedback cable and mechanical mounting layout, eliminating modification of the mechanical transmission structure and reducing equipment downtime.
