Product Details:

KOLLMORGEN TT-4207-4019-D is a heavy-duty brushed permanent magnet DC servo motor from Kollmorgen TT series, equipped with built-in tachometer speed feedback and keyway shaft. It adopts low voltage winding design, delivering high continuous stall torque and strong overload capacity at low speed. The suffix D stands for customized brush grade and bearing preload specification, designed for long-cycle continuous tension control under heavy fluctuating load. This older brushed type is widely used in legacy converting and winding equipment.

This brushed DC servo motor sends real-time speed signal from integrated tachometer to matched Kollmorgen DC servo drives for closed-loop speed and tension regulation. It provides smooth speed stability for unwinding and rewinding rollers, and external sensor is required if precise position control is needed. Separate power wiring and feedback wiring reduce electromagnetic noise interference inside industrial electrical cabinets with inverters and switching modules.

This variant is non-brake design without integrated holding brake, suitable for heavy unwinding rollers, solid sheet feed axes and low-speed rotary test benches where static shaft locking is completed by external mechanical brake structure. The keyway shaft provides reliable torque transmission with gearboxes and reducers and avoids slippage under variable heavy tension load. The armature winding uses Class F insulation material and integrates thermal sensor for real-time temperature monitoring to prevent overheating damage during long-time continuous operation. The motor housing reaches IP54 protection grade to resist workshop dust and incidental liquid splashing. Optimized magnetic circuit suppresses torque ripple greatly, maintaining steady rotation speed and minimizing tension fluctuation for thick sheet and heavy web materials.

It supports torque control and speed control modes, and motion parameters can be tuned conveniently via Kollmorgen drive configuration software. Brushed DC architecture features simple control logic and high low-speed torque output. Every finished motor passes factory validation before shipment, including tachometer signal calibration, speed stability endurance test, insulation resistance inspection and vibration noise monitoring to guarantee stable performance in multi-shift converting and test production lines.

It is widely deployed on heavy solid sheet unwinding equipment, rubber calender auxiliary rollers, material fatigue test benches, large winding tension automation and low-speed rotary loading fixtures. Typical application axes include heavy tension control rollers, low-speed rotary loading units, material feed driving modules and angle adjustment platforms. Automation integrators select this TT series brushed DC variant for its low-voltage high-torque characteristic, dependable tachometer speed feedback and seamless compatibility with Kollmorgen DC motion control ecosystem.
