KOLLMORGEN S30301-PB is a compact single-axis digital servo amplifier of the SERVOSTAR 300 series, PB suffix stands for PROFIBUS DP fieldbus interface configuration. It supports three-phase 208VAC to 480VAC power supply, with 3A continuous output current and 6A peak current, built-in high-speed digital position, speed and torque regulator. It is widely used in CNC auxiliary feed axes, rotary indexing stations, packaging machinery and printing automation lines, suitable for light and medium-load closed-loop motion control axes requiring bus synchronous linkage and stable positioning repeatability. It can store multiple sets of positioning tasks and support electronic gearing for master-slave synchronous motion.

This servo amplifier supports rich feedback types including resolver, incremental encoder, sine/cosine encoder, EnDat, BiSS and HIPERFACE signals, and can match Kollmorgen AKM, Goldline and Seidel series servo motors to form complete closed-loop control system. It is equipped with dual PROFIBUS DP connectors for daisy-chain bus wiring, plus RS232 service port for software parameter configuration and firmware upgrade. Standard cabinet mounting structure separates power terminals and signal connectors to suppress electromagnetic interference in oil mist and dusty industrial environments. It integrates STO safe torque off function and built-in regenerative braking circuit, and can be fitted with external brake resistor for heavy deceleration conditions. Front panel LED indicators and fault code display help technicians quickly locate abnormal signals.

Technicians can tune loop gain, current limit, homing mode and motion profile parameters through Kollmorgen configuration software according to different load characteristics. Multiple internal monitoring circuits continuously track DC bus voltage, output current and internal temperature. Once overload, overheating, overvoltage, undervoltage or feedback disconnection is detected, the drive will rapidly disable power output and trigger alarm to avoid mechanical collision and servo motor winding burnout. The sturdy housing has good vibration resistance, suitable for long-cycle continuous operation on factory production equipment.
