KOLLMORGEN 04S-M60/8-PB is a four-quadrant transistor servo inverter from the classic Seidel 04S series, the PB suffix represents PROFIBUS interface configuration. It is designed for small DC brushless servo motors, widely used on special automation equipment, small CNC auxiliary axes and rotary positioning stations. It adopts built-in analog current and speed regulator, delivering stable 8A rated output current and smooth dynamic response for low-power light-load closed-loop control applications. It supports torque and speed control modes, and the integrated ballast braking circuit handles energy dissipation during deceleration.

This servo amplifier is built for DC bus 60V operation, with 3×43VAC three-phase power input. It is equipped with dedicated PROFIBUS communication port for bus parameter setting and motion command transmission, and reserved analog ±10V command interface for standalone speed control. It uses compact Eurocard rack mounting structure, power studs and signal connectors are separated to reduce electrical noise interference. The front panel has status LED indicators and fault signal output terminals for convenient on-site diagnosis. The internal protection system covers overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage and overtemperature monitoring.
