Product Details
FANUC A06B-0064-B503#0100 is βiS B8/4000 AC servo motor with keyway shaft and built-in 24V holding brake, belonging to FANUC high-response Beta iS servo family, compatible with βiS servo amplifiers and FANUC 0i-MF, 0i-MF Plus CNC systems. Compared with the base A06B-0064-B503, the #0100 suffix specifies B128iA absolute encoder configuration, which is the standard specification for overseas exported machine tool spare replacement. It adopts 200V three-phase AC power supply, rated speed 4000rpm, low inertia rotor design for rapid acceleration and deceleration and higher continuous torque output. The integrated power-off electromagnetic brake locks the shaft position once power is cut off, preventing vertical Z-axis dropping on heavy-duty vertical machining centers. The keyway shaft is designed for timing belt and pulley transmission to deliver stable torque transfer and avoid slipping under heavy cyclic cutting load.
This servo motor integrates stator winding, low-inertia rotor assembly, B128iA absolute encoder and spring static holding brake inside compact aluminum housing. The B128iA absolute encoder feeds back high-precision angle signal to servo amplifier, supporting high-bandwidth closed-loop position, speed and torque control for CNC feed axes. The built-in brake is power-release type, only suitable for static shaft holding instead of dynamic braking during high-speed movement. The keyway shaft matches synchronous pulley and gear coupling, widely used on machine tools adopting belt transmission layout. Two independent locking connectors are arranged at the rear end, separately for power cable and encoder cable, following FANUC standard pin definition for convenient wiring and maintenance.
The front shaft sealing structure reaches IP67 protection grade, resisting coolant splashes, cutting oil mist and fine metal dust in metal cutting workshops. The internal bearing assembly uses long-life grease lubrication to sustain continuous high-speed reciprocating cutting cycles. Low inertia rotor brings excellent dynamic response for high-speed milling cycles, shortening takt time and improving contour machining consistency. Users can adjust servo gain, soft limit and brake delay parameters on CNC system to match the gravity balance of vertical axes and elastic characteristics of belt transmission.
It serves as a direct replacement spare part for original #0100 coded keyway shaft βiS B8/4000 servo motors suffering from bearing abnormal noise, encoder signal loss, brake slip, shaft wear and winding burnout. Every unit will pass winding insulation test, encoder position reading test, brake holding force verification and servo amplifier matching test before shipment, ensuring stable high-speed regulation and reliable static locking performance. Replacing this servo motor can restore heavy-load fast feed axis motion rapidly, avoid machine shutdown caused by positioning deviation or vertical axis sliding. It is widely deployed in export vertical machining centers, heavy mold milling machines, multi-axis tapping equipment and other belt-driven high-precision CNC feed axis applications.
