Product Details
FANUC A06B-0064-B203#0100 is βiS B8/4000 AC servo motor with keyway shaft and no built-in holding brake, belonging to FANUC high-response Beta iS servo series, compatible with βiS servo amplifiers and FANUC 0i-MF, 0i-MF Plus CNC systems. Compared with the straight shaft A06B-0064-B203 base model, the #0100 suffix represents keyway shaft configuration matched with B128iA absolute encoder, specially developed for timing belt and pulley transmission. It can deliver stable torque and prevent slipping under heavy cyclic cutting load. It adopts 200V three-phase AC power supply, rated speed 4000rpm, low inertia rotor for rapid acceleration and deceleration. The B128iA absolute encoder retains axis position data after power-off and eliminates repeated homing, convenient for overseas machine tool maintenance and spare replacement.
This servo motor integrates stator winding, low-inertia rotor assembly and B128iA absolute encoder inside compact aluminum housing. The B128iA absolute encoder feeds back high-precision angle position signal to servo amplifier, supporting high-bandwidth closed-loop position, speed and torque control for CNC feed axes. The keyway shaft is matched with standard synchronous pulley for belt-driven mechanical layout. Since there is no built-in brake, this variant cannot lock the shaft during power loss; external mechanical brake must be equipped if deployed on vertical Z-axis. Two independent locking connectors are arranged at the rear end, separately for power cable and encoder cable, following FANUC standard pin definition for convenient wiring and maintenance.
The front shaft sealing structure reaches IP67 protection grade, resisting coolant splashes, cutting oil mist and fine metal dust in metal cutting workshops. The internal bearing assembly adopts long-life grease lubrication to sustain continuous high-speed reciprocating cutting cycles. The low inertia rotor provides outstanding dynamic response for high-speed milling cycles, shortening takt time and improving contour machining consistency. Users can adjust servo gain and soft limit parameters on CNC system to match heavy-load high-speed feed and the elastic characteristics of belt transmission.
It serves as a direct replacement spare part for original #0100 coded keyway shaft βiS B8/4000 servo motors suffering from bearing abnormal noise, encoder signal loss, shaft wear and winding burnout. Every unit will pass winding insulation test, encoder position reading test and servo amplifier matching test before shipment, ensuring stable high-speed regulation and precise positioning performance. Replacing this servo motor can restore heavy-load fast feed axis motion rapidly, avoid machine shutdown caused by positioning deviation. It is widely deployed in export high-speed vertical machining centers, heavy mold milling machines, multi-axis tapping equipment and other belt-driven CNC feed axis applications.
