Product Details
FANUC A06B-0062-B503#0100 is βiS B4/4000 AC servo motor with keyway shaft and built-in holding brake, part of FANUC high-response Beta iS servo family, compatible with βiS servo amplifiers and FANUC 0i-MF, 0i-MF Plus CNC systems. The #0100 suffix stands for B128iA absolute encoder configuration, it is designed for export-oriented machine tools adopting timing belt and pulley transmission. Different from the base A06B-0062-B503, this variant has confirmed encoder specification for overseas project spare replacement. It adopts 200V three-phase AC power supply, rated speed 4000rpm, low inertia rotor for rapid acceleration and deceleration. The built-in power-off brake locks shaft position once power is cut to prevent vertical Z-axis dropping. The B128iA absolute encoder retains position data after power failure and eliminates repeated homing operation.
This servo motor integrates stator winding, low-inertia rotor assembly, B128iA absolute encoder and spring static holding brake inside compact aluminum housing. The B128iA absolute encoder feeds back high-precision angle signal to servo amplifier, supporting high-bandwidth closed-loop position, speed and torque control for CNC feed axes. The built-in brake is power-release type, only for static holding instead of dynamic braking during high-speed movement. The keyway shaft matches synchronous pulley and gear coupling to transfer torque steadily and avoid slip under cyclic load. Two independent locking connectors are arranged at the rear end, separately for power cable and encoder cable, following FANUC standard pin definition for convenient wiring and maintenance.
The front shaft sealing structure reaches IP67 protection grade, resisting coolant splashes, cutting oil mist and fine metal dust in metal cutting workshops. The internal bearing assembly uses long-life grease lubrication to sustain continuous high-speed reciprocating movement. Low inertia rotor brings excellent dynamic response for tapping cycles and high-speed milling, shortening cycle time and improving machining consistency. Users can adjust servo gain, soft limit and brake delay parameters on CNC system to match vertical axis gravity balance and elastic characteristics of belt transmission.
It serves as a direct replacement spare part for original #0100 coded βiS B4/4000 servo motors suffering from bearing abnormal noise, encoder signal loss, brake slip, shaft wear and winding burnout. Every unit will pass winding insulation test, encoder position reading test, brake holding force verification and servo amplifier matching test before shipment, ensuring stable high-speed regulation and reliable static locking performance. Replacing this servo motor can restore fast heavy-load feed axis motion rapidly, avoid machine halt caused by positioning deviation or vertical axis sliding. It is widely deployed in vertical machining centers, multi-axis tapping machines, mold engraving equipment and other belt-driven CNC feed axis applications for export machines.
