Product Details
FANUC A06B-0061-B203#0100 is βiS B2/4000 AC servo motor with keyway shaft, no built-in holding brake, belonging to FANUC high-response Beta iS servo family, compatible with βiS servo amplifiers and FANUC 0i-MF, 0i-MF Plus CNC systems. Compared with the straight shaft A06B-0061-B203 we listed before, the #0100 suffix stands for keyway shaft variant fitted with B128iA high-resolution absolute encoder, which is optimized for timing belt and pulley transmission structure on high-speed tapping and engraving machines. It adopts 200V three-phase AC power supply, rated power 0.5kW, rated speed 4000rpm, low inertia rotor design for fast acceleration and deceleration. The absolute encoder retains axis position data after power-off, eliminating repeated homing operation.
This servo motor integrates stator winding, low-inertia rotor assembly and B128iA absolute encoder inside compact aluminum housing. The B128iA encoder feeds back high-precision angle signal to servo amplifier, supporting high-bandwidth closed-loop position, speed and torque control. The keyway shaft structure delivers stable torque transmission for synchronous pulley connection and prevents slipping under frequent fast reciprocating motion. Since there is no built-in brake, this variant is mainly applied to horizontal X and Y feed axes; external mechanical brake is required if used for vertical Z-axis. Two independent locking connectors are arranged at the rear end, separately for power cable and encoder cable, following FANUC standard pin definition for convenient wiring and maintenance.
The front shaft sealing structure reaches IP67 protection grade, better dust and splash resistance than ordinary Beta models, resisting coolant splashes, cutting oil mist and fine metal dust in tapping and engraving workshops. The internal bearing assembly uses long-life grease lubrication to sustain continuous high-speed cyclic movement. The low inertia rotor is the core advantage for tapping cycles, shortening cycle time and improving thread machining consistency. Users can adjust servo gain and soft limit parameters on CNC system to match high-speed feed and quick reversing characteristics of belt-driven axes.
It serves as a direct replacement spare part for original keyway shaft βiS B2/4000 servo motors suffering from bearing abnormal noise, encoder signal loss, shaft wear and winding burnout. Every unit will pass winding insulation test, encoder position reading test and servo amplifier matching test before shipment, ensuring stable high-speed regulation and precise positioning performance. Replacing this keyway shaft servo motor can restore fast feed axis motion rapidly, avoid machine shutdown of tapping and engraving production lines. It is widely deployed in CNC tapping machines, high-speed engraving equipment, small milling machines and other belt-driven high-precision CNC feed axis applications.
