FANUC A05B-2440-C301 is a dedicated material handling teach pendant built for FANUC R-30iB and R-30iB Plus robot controllers, specially configured with shortcut keys optimized for palletizing, loading and unloading, and transfer handling workflows. It is a portable handheld HMI for on-site jogging, TP program editing, payload setup, stack recipe configuration and fault diagnosis, differentiated from general-purpose teach pendants by pre-defined quick access keys for handling logic. It connects to the robot control cabinet by the matched teach pendant cable, allowing operators to move freely around the robot work cell for safe manual teaching and adjustment.

This teach pendant integrates color touch LCD, dedicated handling shortcut keys, three-position deadman enabling switch and prominent red emergency stop button, meeting global robot safety specifications. The three-position enabling switch acts as the core safety protection: servo power is enabled only when held at the middle position. The robot will cut off servo power and stop immediately once the operator releases it fully or squeezes it hard, preventing unexpected movement during teaching. Operators can jog axes under joint, world, tool and user coordinate systems, create and modify handling motion programs, adjust movement speed, set pallet pattern layers and spacing, check gripper I/O signals, view servo load curves, read alarm logs, back up system files and perform iR Vision offset calibration for bin picking. The built-in USB port supports program and pallet recipe import and export via flash drive, simplifying rapid product changeover on handling lines.

The rugged handheld housing is fitted with shock-resistant rubber bumpers, resisting impact, scratches, cutting oil mist and fine metal dust in stamping, logistics and machine tending workshops. The membrane keys are engineered for frequent repetitive operation of palletizing and handling commands, maintaining stable tactile feedback after long-term use. The internal communication circuit adopts FANUC proprietary high-speed teach pendant bus protocol, delivering fast screen refresh and low operation response delay.
