FANUC A05B-2301-C370 is a special spot welding dedicated teach pendant designed for FANUC R-J3 and R-J3iB robot controllers, widely used in automotive resistance spot welding robot stations. It is a portable handheld HMI optimized for welding process operation, equipped with exclusive spot welding shortcut key overlay, which facilitates weld schedule selection, welding current, pressure and hold time parameter adjustment during on-site teaching. It connects to the robot control cabinet via the matching A660-2003-T801 teach pendant cable with 20pin locking connector, supporting operators to move around the welding cell safely for jogging and path teaching.

This teach pendant integrates LCD touch display, dedicated welding function keys, three-position deadman enabling switch and prominent red emergency stop button, complying with robot safety standards. The three-position enabling switch is the core safety component: servo power is activated only when held at the middle position, and the robot stops immediately once released or squeezed hard, preventing unexpected movement during teaching. Operators can jog each robot axis under multiple coordinate systems, create and modify spot welding TP programs, call preset weld schedules, adjust welding timer parameters, check welding I/O signals, view servo load and alarm logs, back up system files and calibrate vision offset for iR Vision positioning. The English keyboard layout is built in, convenient for maintenance engineers to input program comments and parameter settings.

The rugged handheld housing is reinforced to resist welding spatter, smoke, cutting oil mist and metal dust in welding workshops. The membrane keys are resistant to high-temperature radiation and frequent pressing, and the internal circuit adopts EMC filtering design to suppress electromagnetic interference from welding controllers and transformers nearby. Different from general-purpose teach pendants, this C370 variant adds one-touch access for welding schedule switching and weld monitor data viewing, greatly improving the debugging efficiency of spot welding production lines. It cannot be directly compatible with R-30iA or R-30iB robot controllers, and it is only matched with the older R-J3 series robot host.
