FANUC A05B-2301-C303 is a dedicated sealed iPendant teach pendant tailored for FANUC R-30iB and R-30iB Plus robot controllers, specially optimized for sealing and glue dispensing robot cells. It inherits the classic handheld HMI architecture of the A05B-2301 series, with upgraded sealing structure on shell and interface to resist glue mist, solvent vapor and sticky residues which are common in dispensing workshops. It connects to the robot control cabinet by a dedicated teach pendant cable, allowing operators to move around the work cell safely for manual jogging, program editing, glue path teaching and process parameter adjustment.

This teach pendant integrates color touch LCD, functional membrane keys, three-position deadman enabling switch and large red emergency stop button, fully complying with industrial robot safety standards. The three-position enabling switch is the core safety component: servo power is only enabled at the middle holding position, and the robot will stop immediately once the operator releases or squeezes it hard, preventing unexpected motion during teaching. Operators can jog robot axes under multiple coordinate systems, create and edit glue trajectory TP programs, adjust dispensing speed, set glue output timing, check glue valve I/O signals, view servo load data, read alarm logs, back up system files and calibrate vision offset for iR Vision positioning. The built-in USB port supports program import and export via flash drive, convenient for recipe migration between different dispensing stations.

Different from standard teach pendants, this C303 variant adopts enhanced sealing design for touch panel, key gaps and cable connector base, blocking low-viscosity glue fog and cleaning solvent from penetrating into internal circuit. The housing surface is treated with anti-stick coating, which reduces glue adhesion and makes daily cleaning easier. The internal communication circuit adopts FANUC proprietary high-speed bus protocol, maintaining stable communication even under the disturbance of glue valve high-frequency switching. The ergonomic shape reduces hand fatigue during long-time trajectory teaching, which is a key advantage for dispensing processes requiring dense path teaching.
