FANUC A05B-2300 series is the upgraded iPendant teach pendant platform for FANUC R-30iB and R-30iB Plus robot controllers, covering multiple suffix variants such as C301, C302, C303, differing in screen configuration, touch function, keyboard layout and language firmware. It is a portable handheld HMI for robot on-site jogging, program editing, parameter setup, alarm diagnosis and system backup, upgraded and optimized on the basis of the A05B-2255 series, with improved touch stability and circuit anti-interference performance. It connects to the robot control cabinet via a dedicated teach pendant cable, allowing operators to move freely around the robot working zone for safe manual operation and debugging.

This teach pendant integrates color LCD display, touch screen, membrane function keys, three-position enabling deadman switch and large red emergency stop button, complying with international robot safety standards. The three-position enable switch is the core safety component: servo power is enabled only when held at the middle position, and the robot will stop immediately once the operator releases it fully or squeezes it hard, effectively preventing accidental movement during teaching work. Operators can jog each axis under joint, world, tool and user coordinate systems, create and modify TP motion programs, set override speed, adjust payload data, view servo load curves, check alarm history, back up robot system files, calibrate vision offset for iR Vision, and monitor robot internal I/O and PMC signal status. The built-in USB interface supports program import and export via U disk, facilitating program migration and backup between different robot stations.

The ergonomic handheld housing is equipped with anti-collision rubber guard, which can resist impact, scratches, cutting oil mist and metal dust in welding, handling and assembly workshops. The touch panel is optimized for glove operation, reducing misoperation caused by oil and coolant contamination. The internal communication circuit adopts FANUC proprietary high-speed bus protocol, realizing fast screen refresh and low operation response delay. Different suffix versions support multi-language interfaces to match the operation habits of maintenance technicians in different regions. Compared with the earlier A05B-2255 model, this series optimizes the internal wiring layout and touch driving circuit, and has longer service life under long-term heavy-duty workshop use.
