Product Details
FANUC A03B-0819-C051, also known as AAD04A, is a 4-channel 12-bit differential analog input module designed for FANUC I/O Link distributed rack system, compatible with FANUC 16i-B,18i-B and 21i-B CNC controllers. It is installed into ABU05A or ABU10A I/O backplane slots, and communicates with the CNC main control unit through FANUC proprietary I/O Link serial bus, converting continuous analog signals from field sensors into digital data that the PMC and CNC system can identify and process. This module supports multiple standard industrial signal types including 4-20mA current signal, 0-10V and ±10V voltage signal, covering the mainstream output forms of most process and detection sensors on CNC machine tools.
Each of the four channels adopts differential input design, which effectively suppresses common-mode interference caused by long wiring distance and ground potential difference between the sensor and electrical cabinet. The 12-bit conversion resolution ensures stable signal sampling accuracy for routine industrial measurement. Each channel is equipped with independent signal conditioning circuit and surge protection, preventing the internal acquisition chip from being damaged by instantaneous voltage spikes induced on the signal cable. Corresponding LED status indicators are provided on the panel to display power-on state and channel working status, which helps maintenance technicians quickly judge whether the signal line is open-circuited, short-circuited or the sensor is abnormal during on-site inspection.
The module adopts the unified yellow housing design of FANUC I/O series, with compact plug-in structure, it can be directly inserted and locked on the ABU series backplane without extra fixing parts. It has good vibration resistance, dust resistance and oil mist tolerance, adapting to the harsh workshop environment with cutting fluid mist and metal dust. Users can configure signal type, sampling filter time and PMC mapping address for each channel through CNC system parameters according to on-site sensor types. It is widely used for collecting spindle vibration signals, hydraulic pressure signals, lubrication oil pressure, cooling liquid temperature, workpiece detection displacement and other analog variables. The collected analog data can be used for load monitoring, pressure interlock protection, temperature alarm and closed-loop auxiliary control logic inside PMC.
It serves as a direct replacement spare part for the original faulty analog input modules with channel drift, signal loss, conversion failure and communication anomaly on machining centers, CNC lathes, grinding machines and special processing machines equipped with 16i/18i/21i-B CNC systems. Every module will pass power-on aging test, multi-range analog signal calibration test and I/O Link communication matching verification before shipment to guarantee the linearity and stability of each channel’s sampling. Replacing this module can quickly restore the analog signal acquisition function of the machine tool and avoid abnormal shutdown caused by loss of pressure and temperature monitoring signals. It is commonly deployed in mold precision machining, automotive parts turning, hydraulic component manufacturing and automated special machine production lines.
