Product Details: Bently Nevada 3500/42 is a four-channel Vibration Displacement Monitor developed for the Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection system. This Proximitor Seismic Module accepts input signals from proximity probes, velocity transducers and accelerometers, supporting real-time measurement of radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, shaft eccentricity, acceleration and velocity for rotating machinery. The four channels are configured in pairs through 3500 rack configuration software, users can set independent alert and danger thresholds for each channel group according to machine operating conditions. When vibration or displacement values exceed preset safety limits, the module sends alarm status to the relay module and control system to trigger warning or trip actions. The Shaft Position Monitor provides buffered transducer outputs on the front panel and 4-20mA recorder outputs for data transmission to DCS and PLC systems. It adopts hot-swappable design so maintenance technicians can replace the module without shutting down the whole 3500 rack. Built-in self-diagnosis functions continuously detect sensor open circuit, short circuit and internal hardware faults, and report fault information to the system.
