ABB PFEA111-65 3BSE050090R65 is an IP65 wall-mounted tension electronics unit for ABB Pressductor load cell web tension measurement system. The tension electronics unit receives force signals from tension load cells, calculates real-time web tension value and outputs analog signals to PLC and drive controller for closed-loop tension control. This ABB PFEA111-65 unit supports up to 2 load cell inputs, equipped with 2×16 character LCD display and operation keys for local parameter setup, tension reading and fault inspection. The web tension controller adopts adjustable signal filtering function to eliminate on-site noise interference and improve measuring accuracy. It has built-in self-diagnostic function to detect load cell disconnection and circuit faults, and output alarm signals for maintenance. The IP65 enclosure protects against dust and water splash, so it can be directly installed on production line machine surface without inner control cabinet. Widely used in paper making, plastic film, textile, metal foil, printing and slitting lines, it maintains stable web tension and reduces material breakage.
