This Profibus DP interface module can be configured as master or slave station, supporting Profibus DP V0/V1 protocol with communication speed up to 12Mbps. It realizes cyclic data exchange between controller and field Profibus DP devices including drives, remote I/O modules and sensors. It adopts galvanic isolation design to avoid ground loop interference, equipped with LED status indicators and built-in communication fault diagnosis function to quickly locate network and hardware faults. The module is installed on SC510 or SC520 submodule carrier and communicates with main controller through backplane bus.
