REXROTH APRB02-02-FW is an Indramat axis processor module for legacy multi-axis motion control systems. It is designed to be plugged into the system backplane carrier, responsible for axis position loop calculation, motion profile generation and servo command output. The FW suffix represents fixed firmware version for dedicated machine application. This legacy module is discontinued, available stock are refurbished spare units for CNC machine tools and automated assembly tightening lines.

This processor module receives motion commands from the main control CPU and executes closed-loop position, speed and torque algorithm for individual servo axes. It processes encoder feedback signals and sends analog or digital setpoint values to matched Indramat servo drives. Shielded backplane bus and feedback wiring reduce electromagnetic interference generated by adjacent power units and harsh workshop environment.

The module adopts multilayer PCB design with gold-plated backplane connector for stable high-speed signal transmission. It runs on 24V DC auxiliary power supply, with front-mounted LED indicators for power status, axis active and fault diagnosis.
