Product Details

The RELIANCE 518317 CVTH board is a discontinued voltage and current transductor feedback circuit board for Reliance Electric MaxPak Plus analog SCR DC drive systems, widely deployed in metallurgy, papermaking, rolling mill and other heavy-duty continuous production lines. It cooperates with regulator boards, gate drive boards and SCR power stacks, sampling armature voltage and armature current signals from the power section, converting high-power raw signals into isolated low-level analog feedback signals for the speed and current closed-loop regulator.

This board adopts high-isolation transductor and precision operational amplifier circuit design. It separates high-voltage power circuits from low-voltage control circuits to avoid common-mode interference and ground loop noise. It converts sampled current and voltage signals into proportional analog feedback values, providing basic signals for speed PI regulation, current limiting, overload protection and overvoltage alarm. It reserves multiple calibration potentiometers for feedback gain, zero offset and signal polarity adjustment. It integrates RC absorption circuits to suppress voltage spikes generated during SCR commutation. It is a dedicated CVTH feedback board for Reliance MaxPak Plus DC drive platform, cannot be directly replaced by other PCBs without drive power rating matching, wiring polarity confirmation and feedback loop calibration. Multiple CVTH boards can be configured for independent signal acquisition of multi-drive units.

It adopts rack plug-in structure with gold-plated edge connector and terminal block for shunt, power and signal wiring. The PCB layout adopts reinforced insulation and anti-surge design, adapting to harsh industrial sites with large current switching noise and mechanical vibration. Users need to confirm matched drive power stack, shunt specification and regulator board model before replacement. This legacy RELIANCE 518317 board is mainly used for maintenance and retrofit of old MaxPak Plus DC drive systems. Isolation resistance test, signal ratio calibration and closed-loop linkage test are required after installation. A conformal coated version is optional for high humidity and dusty industrial sites. This CVTH transductor board is widely used in Reliance legacy DC drive renovation, power signal sampling and heavy-duty motor closed-loop speed regulation projects.

This CVTH feedback board obtains working power from the drive internal auxiliary power supply. The edge connector and terminal block support quick disassembly and replacement for convenient on-site maintenance and inspection. The optimal operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, relative humidity 5% to 85% non-condensing. It complies with industrial shock, vibration and EMC standards and has CE certifications. It supports parameter backup for fast recovery after hardware replacement.

This RELIANCE 518317 CVTH board is widely applied in Reliance MaxPak Plus DC drive control systems. It undertakes isolation sampling and conversion of armature voltage and current signals. As a reliable spare part for Reliance legacy drive systems, the 518317 retains original signal conversion accuracy and isolation performance, helping customers reduce maintenance cost of old industrial automation equipment.
