Product Details:
The RELIANCE 0490116A power supply board is an essential drive spare part designed for legacy RELIANCE CardPak DC drive rack control systems. This power card converts the AC auxiliary input voltage into multiple stable DC voltage rails to supply power for all internal cards inside the drive rack, including regulator cards, transductor sensing boards, limit protection boards and ramp timing boards. It provides clean, regulated 24V and other low-voltage DC power required for analog circuits, operational amplifiers, comparator chips and bus communication circuits. Stable and ripple-free power output from this power supply board is the foundation for reliable operation of the whole control rack. Degraded output voltage, channel dropout or excessive ripple will cause random signal drift, intermittent communication faults, unstable regulation and unexpected drive shutdown.
This power card adopts standard plug-in slot structure and can be directly inserted into the dedicated RELIANCE CardPak drive chassis. It supplies power to all backplane bus modules and receives AC auxiliary input from the drive transformer. Built-in fuse protection, rectifier bridge circuits, voltage regulation components and large filter capacitors are arranged on the PCB. Surge suppression components reduce transient voltage spikes coming from the auxiliary AC input side. The board is designed for industrial continuous operation, with a net weight around 0.55kg. Its rated working ambient temperature range is 0℃ to 55℃, and storage temperature ranges from -20℃ to 70℃. LED indicators on the board show main power status and each output rail status for maintenance technicians to quickly locate which power channel has failed.
This RELIANCE 0490116A power card is widely used as maintenance spare parts for traditional DC speed regulation equipment in metallurgy rolling production lines, paper making machines, cable extrusion lines and other heavy-duty industrial machines that use CardPak rack control. The original manufacturer has discontinued this power supply board, and most units available on the global industrial spare parts market are fully tested refurbished units. Before installation, technicians need to check rectifier diodes, electrolytic filter capacitors, regulation ICs, fuses, PCB traces, solder joints and gold fingers for bulging, leakage, oxidation or poor contact. After rack installation, users need to verify each DC output voltage level, check ripple amplitude, and complete long-time power-on stability test together with no-load and load drive running tests. Careful inspection of this power supply board can effectively eliminate random, hard-to-reproduce drive faults caused by unstable power rails, reducing unplanned production downtime.
