Product Details

The RELIANCE 4902621 I/O interface board is a discontinued discrete signal processing circuit board for Reliance Electric legacy variable speed drive systems, widely used in metallurgy, papermaking, rolling mill and other heavy-duty continuous production lines. It serves as the signal interface between the drive main regulator board and external control devices, receiving start stop, enable, fault reset and interlock contact signals, and outputting drive running, fault, ready relay status signals to PLC or local operation panel.

This board adopts opto-isolation and relay drive circuit design. It isolates field switching signals to suppress common-mode interference and ground loop noise generated by power device commutation. It integrates transient surge absorption and reverse polarity protection circuits to prevent damage caused by wiring errors and inductive load back EMF. It implements hardwired safety interlock logic such as emergency stop, cooling system fault and power supply abnormality, latches fault status and keeps fault information for maintenance troubleshooting. LED status indicators are configured on each channel for convenient on-site signal inspection and fault diagnosis. It is a dedicated I/O accessory for Reliance legacy drive platform, cannot be directly replaced by other boards without matching drive model, contact rating and interlock logic verification. Multiple I/O interface boards can be used for coordinated interlock control of multi-drive groups.

It adopts rack plug-in installation structure with gold-plated edge connector and front terminal blocks for digital input, relay output and interlock signal wiring. The PCB layout adopts anti-vibration and electromagnetic interference suppression design, adapting to harsh industrial sites with large current switching noise and mechanical vibration. Users need to confirm matched regulator board and wiring schematic before replacement. This legacy RELIANCE 4902621 board is mainly used for maintenance and retrofit of old Reliance drive systems. Channel continuity test, interlock sequence verification and relay linkage test are required after installation. A conformal coated version is optional for high humidity and dusty industrial sites. This I/O interface board is widely used in Reliance legacy drive renovation, safety interlock processing and remote status signal transmission.

This I/O interface board obtains working power from the drive internal auxiliary power supply. The edge connector and terminal block support quick disassembly and replacement for convenient on-site maintenance and inspection. The optimal operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, storage temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C, relative humidity 5% to 85% non-condensing. It complies with industrial shock, vibration and EMC standards and has CE certifications. It supports parameter backup for fast recovery after hardware replacement.

This RELIANCE 4902621 I/O interface board is widely applied in Reliance legacy drive control systems. It undertakes discrete signal isolation, interlock logic judgment and status relay output. As a reliable spare part for Reliance legacy drive systems, the 4902621 retains original signal isolation and logic processing performance, helping customers reduce maintenance cost of old industrial automation equipment.
