Product Details:
The RELIANCE 01429-21RC processor module acts as the central processing and control core for legacy RELIANCE DC drive platforms. As a critical drive spare part, this unit is designed to handle multiple core control tasks inside the drive rack, including closed-loop speed regulation, torque limiting calculation, sequence logic execution, multi-channel analog and digital signal sampling, and high-speed data exchange with adjacent I/O cards, feedback interface boards and gate drive boards connected to the shared backplane bus. The processor module continuously receives real-time feedback signals from resolvers, incremental encoders, current transformers and voltage sensing circuits. All collected signal data will be calculated and compared with preset setpoints inside the chip, then precise output control commands will be sent to the power drive loop to adjust the excitation and armature output, stabilizing motor rotating speed, keeping consistent torque performance and supporting continuous system status tracking.
This unit uses standard Eurocard slot mounting structure and fits perfectly with the original RELIANCE series chassis. It requires a 24V DC auxiliary power supply for internal operation, with a net weight around 0.55kg. The rated working ambient temperature range is 0℃ to 55℃, and the storage temperature range is -20℃ to 70℃. The module comes with on-board diagnostic circuits, which can identify common faults such as signal loss, communication error and internal hardware abnormality, and send alarm codes to the human-machine interface for fast troubleshooting. It is widely deployed for maintenance and spare replacement on traditional DC speed control equipment used in metallurgy rolling lines, paper making production lines, plastic and cable extrusion machines, textile finishing machines and other heavy-duty industrial applications.
This model has been officially discontinued by the original manufacturer, and new original stock is no longer available. Most units circulating in the global industrial spare parts market are pre-tested refurbished units. Before installation, technicians need to carefully check board solder joints, electrolytic capacitors, track integrity and gold fingers for oxidation, corrosion or aging damage. After physical installation, users must confirm the compatibility of drive firmware versions, download and verify the matched parameter configuration, and complete commissioning tests under no-load and load conditions. Proper inspection and parameter matching can effectively reduce unexpected downtime and avoid unplanned production interruptions caused by mismatched control settings or degraded components.
