The RELIANCE 0-57412 field regulator module is a discontinued plug-in excitation control card for Reliance Electric AutoMax DCS5000 distributed control system, widely used in metallurgy, papermaking, rolling mill and other heavy-duty industrial production lines with DC motor drive units. It is specially matched with DC drive power parts, responsible for motor field excitation closed-loop regulation, generating gate drive signals for field power module, and realizing stable flux control and field weakening speed regulation function.

This module adopts isolated sampling and pulse trigger circuit design. It has three dedicated interfaces on the front panel for isolated armature voltage signal, field power module and field gate connector.
